Episode 15 – James McNew (Yo La Tengo). Before a Brooklyn festival show WHY? was playing with Lambchop– in which James was guesting, Yoni and James sit in the WHY? tour van to have a chat about James’ early years and how he hooked up with Yo La Tengo, the merits of collaboration, and being (anti)social. Yoni shares intro/outro duties with veteran softball announcer, Donjamin Joliath.

Episode 14 – Jordan Feinman & Josiah Wolf. Yoni and his brother, Josiah, get into a long, deep conversation with childhood friend, Jordan Feinman, after a WHY? show in Albany, NY. They discuss ‘the perfect groove’, spirit vs. soul, Jordan’s ‘experience’, God, The Universe and a bunch of other really deep stuff.

Episode 13 – TVOTR Curated ATP. After Performing at the TV on the Radio curated All Tomorrow’s Parties festival in England, Yoni gets in a journalistic mind-state. He interviews some fans and fanboys out on one of his heroes.

Episode 12 – Chris Adams (HOOD, Bracken). In Leeds, England, Yoni invites Chris over to his hotel before a WHY? concert. The two have an inspiring discussion about keeping things fresh as an artist aging well beyond the rockin’ 20’s, the beginnings of HOOD, making the leap into major success as an artist (or not), and the mysterious persona certain artists cultivate.

Episode 11 – Alfred Darlington (Daedelus). Alfred magically shows up at a WHY? show in Liverpool, England. After the show, Yoni takes Alfred back to the hotel for a great talk. They discuss raves and creativity within the strictures of dance music, longevity, the difference between live and recorded, and trap music.

Episode 10- Erika Wennerstrom (Heartless Bastards). While in Austin visiting Anna Stewart, Yoni seizes the opportunity to get brunch with rock and roll singer/songwriter, Erika Wennerstrom, of Heartless Bastards. He picks Erika’s brain concerning her history, process, career, etc.
